Hello Readers!

I’m baa–aack My kitchen is still in the final stages of remodel–mainly painting, painting and more painting. That and a little plumbing issue that should be taken care of next week… but for the most part it is done and I just can’t WAIT for the big reveal

In the meantime, I thought I might share with you a great little cookbook that my GOODe ole friends at Gooseberry Patch sent me:

Gooseberry Patch asked me to review Homestyle in a Hurry (to be released Jan. 3), a lovely quick fix cookbook, as one of their Early Bird Reviewers.

I was tickled pink to receive this book. It is so perfect for those nights when you want something homemade but you don’t have a lot of time or energy to make something elaborate. The book is full of great recipes that are quick and simple, but totally delish.

Recipes like Parmesan Crust Pork Chops… YUM!!!

Oh, and Rosemary Roasted Potatoes…

You simply cannot go wrong with rosemary…just sayin’

I just love all the great combination of flavors in this book that are simple and fast, yet provide great flavorful options for my family.

And then there is a REALLY familiar recipes right there in them there pages…one that, truth be told, came as quite the surprise to the Goodes…

Hmmm… that looks A LOT like our Super Easy Puddin’ Cake… which looks really fancy, but is super easy… thus the name…

Wait a minute, that is what they called it too…

Surprise! I was totally shocked to see my name right there in a Gooseberry Patch Cookbook!

Ya see, I hadn’t received notification yet, since the reviewers receive their copies so early, so it was such an awesome surprise to learn all on my own

I literally screamed out loud… Miss Add didn’t know what the heck was going on

Puddie was excited too..about the cookbook, but even more so about the fact that he knew I would be making another Puddin’ Cake

Now while I can’t give each of you a piece of this 3 ingredient family favorite, I will share the recipes to all three dishes mentioned above later this week.

In the meantime, my GOODe friends at Gooseberry Patch sent me a copy of Homestyle in a Hurry for one of my lucky readers!

Decisions, decisions. I pretty much live on the Gooseberry Patch blog and store site, drooling over their fares; though I couldn't possible choose just one. Seriously, their cookbooks are like an addiction for this girl though I often fare well to hit up my local library to help from breaking the bank.
