Reading this makes me miss Disney and younger kids! My girls would have loved the idea of dressing up each day! I may have to kidnap some grandkids to go to disney one day, my husband sees no reason for 2 adults to go by themselves. Party pooper!
I was going to comment on how you got that great fireworks shot, but then realized it was one you got from the Photo Pass. It is beautiful!

Goode family, you just made our family's upcoming trip SO MUCH better than it would have been. We are Disney World bound soon and so thankful for this insight. We have been once before but with my expert Disney parents by our side. This time they won't be along and we'll need this advice. Plus our girls are right in line with the age of Miss Add. They want to see the same things! I just emailed this blog post to my husband with the words "let's print this off and follow it!" Thank you again!

Whew. Just reading this made me tired....and also want to go back to Disney! We did one magical day at the Magic Kingdom and loved every minute of it!

LOVE your idea of picking up the dresses ahead of time! I didn't realize how much dressing up could be involved- we didn't bring Meg's costumes.Tip #1- Since we just had one day, I gave a map/guidebook to my daughter on the drive to Orlando-- she read about the rides and shows and circled what she HAD to see that day. We planned a route, so that we got to those things first. Tip #2- The kids were fading before the fireworks, so I splurged on those giant lollipops. It kept them happy and content while we waited for the show to start.

Tip #3- we made a reservation for a sit-down, A/C restaurant for lunch, for around 2pm. It got us out of the heat of the day, and it was a great break!
