Dear Reader-
When I stumbled upon this recipe for Peanut Butter Power Squares while reviewing the 10th Anniversary Edition of Gooseberry Patch’s Meals in Minutes (psst… have you entered to win a copy yet?), I was intrigued…
I am not a huge fan of the power bars in grocery store… taste and texture aren’t pleasant for me.
So, if this homemade treat could give me a mid-day boost, I am all for it!
You start by taking 1/2 cup of honey and pouring it into a pot.
And add 1/4 cup of Splenda Brown Sugar Blend or (1/2 cup of Brown Sugar).
Heat until melted and then remove from heat.
Add 1 Cup of Crunchy Peanut Butter and mix until smooth.
Add 5 oz Dried Cherries
And 4 Cups Fiber One Honey Clusters
Mix ‘er all up… and spread out on a cookie sheet or pour into a bar pan to make exactly 12 squares for portion control.
Holy yumminess batman!
We totally heart them.
