Dear Reader-
A staple in our Slow Cooker recipes is cooking up a whole chicken in the crockpot.
There are so many things you can do with the leftovers… from sandwiches to soups to casseroles… and even homemade stock.
And the whole thing couldn’t be easier!
Start out by lining my 4 qt interchangeable bowl
for my slow cooker.
Placed my whole chicken in…
Coat with Seasoned Salt…
and Poultry Seasoning
Toss in a few sprigs of fresh Rosemary…
And a few sprigs of Thyme…
Put a lid on it and cook on low for 6-8 hours…
Remove the herbs…
And the tender meat will fall off the bone- packed full of flavor.
