Welcome to Crockpot Week!

First up is a killer recipe that is sooo simple and sooo delicious- BBQ Chicken Legs!
Now I lightened this recipe up by removing the skin from my chicken legs and skipping the boiling portion of the recipe for my On the Lighter Side Series with Gooseberry Patch.
I then seasoned them with Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Pepper to taste.
The original recipe calls for 1/4 cup of Hot Sauce and 3/4 Cup BBQ Sauce… we are light weights, so I just gave it a splash of Hot Sauce…
I also reduced the butter to 4 T and used light butter.
And cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Then I removed them from crockpot and placed them on a cookie sheet, basted with more BBQ sauce and broiled for 5 minutes to take the wow factor up a notch.

For just two of us, I halved the recipe. Now I wish I had made the full recipe for leftovers. Excellent recipe!
