These kid-friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Campfire Burritos are perfect for your next cook out or camping trip! They are easy to throw together ahead of time and toss on the grill, campfire (or even in the oven) for an ooey gooey treat for kids of all ages.
When I saw this recipe in Gooseberry Patch’s new Grilling and Campfires Cooking, I was intrigued for a couple reasons. First, who isn’t drawn to peanut butter, marshmallows and chocolate wrapped in tortilla and toasted to perfection?!?
Updated with a video from Mikey and Miss Add!
But then I saw who the recipe was submitted by and I knew I had to make it! The recipe was sent in by my friend Joni!
Long time readers might recall that Miss Joni and I– along with a great group of girlfriends road tripped a few years ago to see the Pioneer Woman (pre-Food Network 😉 ). Joni is the one in the very middle… in the back, not the one signing the book 😉
Chocolate Peanut Butter Campfire Burritos
Anyhoo… back to the burritos.
Since finding this recipe we have had it no less than 10 times.
Serious. We may need an intervention.
I mean peanut butter tastes really good on its own, but when you use it as an ingredient, especially an ingredient that melts… something magical happens.
But if you decide to try to intervene, can you wait until after our next fishing trip? I am so looking forward to making these up ahead of time with Miss Add as the perfect dessert after a dinner of Campfire Chicken and Creek Potatoes– Yum!
Enjoy!
