Truth be told, when Carhartt offered the Real Farmwives of America and Friends each something free from their Women’s line, I very quickly had all kinds of grand ideas of all the fun fall activities in which I could wear my new Carhartt Women’s Roll-Up Sleeve Plaid Poplin Shirt.
We have our annual trip to the Anderson’s Apple Orchard, then there was Kelsay Farms and the Greendell Pumpkin Patch.
I knew that this comfy plaid shirt would be perfect for all the pickin’, chasin’ and hay ridin’… complete with roll up sleeves that would let me dig in and get my hands dirty if need be…
Ahhh… but October had other ideas Dear Reader — as many of you already know…
Real fun ideas like…
Bronchitis and the like…
BUT– I have been to one fun fall activity so far (and I am going to get to Kelsay’s next weekend if it is the last thing I do!) thanks to Miss Add’s preschool field trip to Hunter’s Honey Farm.
I heart Hunter’s Honey Farm.
You might recall that I have written about them professionally and the fam visited them last fall too.
So, I took that as an opportunity to finally wear my fall fun shirt during the only fall outing I have been able to muster so far;)
We had a great time and this under-the-weather mama stayed nice and cozy in my new shirt. More on our trip later.
Big thanks to Carhartt for giving me the cool shirt.
Obviously they are way more than work jackets and coveralls these days.
Who knew they had a fun Women’s line (that includes plus sizes –thank you very much!).
If you would like to win something cool from their women’s line, visit Real Farmwives of America and Friends to sign up for a cool giveaway.
Oh and, you know the drill… Carhartt did provide me with this product to review but the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.

Love the shirt, it looks cozy soft and durable. And THANK YOU for some local farms to go to for apples, pumpkins, etc. We’re new to Indy and have no idea what’s what in the farming world here. I am glad I found your blog, thanks a million.
