This recipe always starts with the same step… a call to Mama Goode… asking about egg/ flour ratio.
Gladys’ Chicken -n- Noodles
Holy yumminess batman!
Puddie made his mama’s Chicken -n- Noodles…
Turns out that it is a heaping 1/4 t of baking powder.
3 eggs…
and 1 t of Salt… all beat up
Now gradually add flour until a dough forms… around a little over 1 Cup
Keep stirring until that glorious dough forms
Now turn the dough out on a floured surface…
And form a dough ball…
And, roll ‘er out flat…
Keep rolling…
Until it is about 1/8th of an inch thick
Cut in two…
Roll ’em up…
Cut each roll in half
Then half longways…
And half sideways again…
Break apart…
And keep breaking apart until they are itty bitty pieces
Now, let them dry for a while…
Meanwhile boil up 12 cups of low sodium chicken broth
Cube up about 2 cups of chicken
Drop in your chicken and cook through
Then add your noodles.
Boil about 20 minutes until perfection is met. Salt & pepper to taste.
Ohhh. My. Comfort. Food.
Enjoy!

OK, Call me Crazy, but I love the pic with Puddie's sweatshirt wearing a bunch of flour! It's not good unless you make a good mess! Looks like I will be going to bed hungry tonight!
How are you doing with food now that we are all in on your "news"? See you Monday!

gotta love a man who can cook. Ott, E can grill but rolling out dough is probably a little too advanced for him. Your dinner looks delish!!!
