Polar Express PJ Parties at the IMAX

Dear Reader-

I don’t know anything as much fun as holidays with kiddos…

Some days I just stand in the kitchen and listen to the background noise of giggles and carols and TRY to soak it in.

This year, we did something special to kick off our holiday season, a Polar Express PJ Party at our local IMAX theater and it was Ah-Mazing!

I have never seen anything like 3D at the IMAX before… and let’s just say it ain’t your mama’s 3D.

Miss Add kept saying, “Look Mommy, we are going upstairs” or “Oh look we’re sliding”… notice she didn’t say “he is going upstairs”– No, the IMAX 3D made us feel like we were IN the movie.

And, the PJ part of the party–complete with hot chocolate and Christmas cookies– made the night so special.

If you are near the Indianapolis area, the IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum’s Pajama Parties are open to the public each Friday and Saturday evening at 7 p.m. from now until Christmas. AND, kids sporting their PJs get in free with a paying adult– Mommy score! 🙂
