Dear Reader-
Today we are not only celebrating Crockpot Week at GOODeness Gracious, we are also prepping our kitchens for Game Day with Gooseberry Patch!
So, naturally, it is time to get out that killer new GP book- Slow Cooking All Year ‘Round.
And the dip section in this book is Awesome!
We already made that uber-yummy Crab Rangoon Dip… but today let’s play with some familiar dip flavors in a unique way…
Cheesy Sausage Spinach Dip
Cheesy Sausage (Spinach) Dip starts with a softened block of Cream Cheese in your crockpot.
And a can of Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies– either the combo can or you can add a can of each like I did.
Now the recipe calls for 10 oz Frozen Spinach- thawed and drained. Next time, I will likely only add 5 oz because for us there was a little too much Spinach our first time around… but I think that is entirely up to individual taste 😉
Stir well and cook on low for 2 hours or until it is heated through.
Enjoy with corn chips! Yum!
