Noodles and Rice how I love thee!
Seriously.
When I was pregnant with Ryder, and my doctor was afraid I had gestational diabetes, they told me I had to cut the “five whites” from my diet for the remainder of my pregnancy. Michael took one look at the list and asked me what in the world I was going to eat.
Hmmm…white bread, pasta, rice, sugar and honestly, I can’t remember for sure what the last one was. I think it was milk…maybe? (And at this point in the pregnancy I may or may not have been drinking around 3-4 gallons of milk a week. This girl loves her milk…just sayin’.) Most of the things I was consuming at the time fell under those categories. I was crushed, but I did what they said so that my Little Bug (aka Ryder) would be okay.
Needless to say, I was oh so excited to return to my noodles and rice (and everything else on the list!) after Ryder arrived in this crazy world.
I have had Glady’s Chicken Noodles before when Mikey has made them and oh my are they wonderful!
