Dear Reader-
It should come as no secret that Miss Add is a Sketti Head…
My girl LOVES her spaghetti and since it is one of like the only 5 things most restaurants serve, she chooses sketti more often than not when we are out and about.
But there are times when she hasn’t had it in a while and she bats those baby blues at me… and Mommy makes spaghetti for dinner.
I don’t mind it and truth be told, it is super quick to throw together…
Not to mention a GREAT excuse to make some super easy Garlic Bread.
Sometimes I want to go all crazy and stuff and mix things up by making baked spaghetti 😉 Madness I tell ya!
I started by cooking up a 12 oz box of Smart Taste spaghetti.
While that cooked up I added 1 lb of my Seasoned Ground Beef to a jar of Add’s favorite sauce…
45 oz jar… of Super Chunky Mushroom no less!
AND because Super Chunky Mushroom isn’t enough… add a can of drained mushrooms to boot!
Heat through…
Pour into your favorite 9 x 13 pan
Top with 1/2 cup of Shredded Parmesan Cheese and pop under the broiler for 5 minutes.
Now collect your Mommy of the Year Award from the judge…
Baked Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 12 oz Box Smart Taste Spaghetti- Prepared
- 1 lb Seasoned Ground Beef
- 1 Can Mushrooms- Drained
- 1 45 oz Jar Spaghetti Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Prepare and Mix all ingredients except cheese well, heating them through
- Pour into 9 x 13 pan and top with cheese.
- Broil for 5 minutes
