Well it is finally time!
Time to share with you all about the yumminess we found in Gooseberry Patch’s Big Book of Home Cooking.
I already shared Five Recipes You’ll Love (and a bonus sixth recipe) from this baby… and then asked you to vote and boy did you vote!!!
A whopping 265 of you voted and let me know which recipes you’d like to see here…
I may or may not have a tab addiction when it comes to this book!
But thank heavens you helped me pick some great ones…
Recipes like Deep Dish Taco Squares
Which Miss Add insisted we top with some garden fresh yellow tomatoes from the farmers’ market.
This is sure to be a kid friendly favorite. It is kind of like a taco pizza! Recipe coming soon…
Next up we whipped up a batch of the Baked Spinach and Artichoke Dip… YUMMO!
Loved this recipe!
It could double for its restaurant counterpart any day AND you can even lighten it up a bit without losing the flavor. Recipe coming soon…
The family favorite was the Chicken and Dressing Casserole.
It was so easy to make and oh-so delicious! From the get go, this recipe had the kitchen smellin’ like heaven and the final dish did not disappoint.
Puddie went on and on and on about this casserole! Not only is it going on the cook again list, it will likely be up for a FREEZE-O-RAMA soon… and that is like a Goode Family award or somethin’ 😉 Recipe coming soon…
Next up is a great excuse to head to your local apple orchard…
We came back with a half a peck of galas…
Which were very yummy in the Apple & Berry Breakfast Crisp.
Puddie says this dish came in a close second for him.
I think he has ate three bowls of it so far! Recipe coming soon…
Last but not least, I will be baking up the Million Dollar Pound Cake and serving it up with some of my freezer peaches later this week.
For those of you that voted for the Stuffed Mushrooms, Western-Style Quiche, Amy’s Chicken Tetrazzini, Italian Cream Cake or Chicken Lasagna with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, my pal Leah will be whipping those recipes up over on Beyer Beware in the coming weeks, so make sure you head over there and follow her/subscribe to her emails so that you don’t miss a recipe!
Now, for the moment we have all been waiting for! The giveaway! Big thanks to GP for giving me a free copy for me AND for one of you BEFORE it becomes available on September 20th!
Please note to enter to win YOU MUST indicate what task you completed in the little widget below.
GOODe Luck!
Psst… If you would rather pre-order this baby for just under $20 (regularly $30), Amazon has it on pre-order right now!
It would make awesome Christmas gifts… just sayin’ (Aunt Lou and Memaw… pretend you didn’t see that)

Your site is so comprehensive it’s hard to come up with something I’d like to see… I guess I’d say more budget-conscious ideas (although you do that well already).
