Cultivating Connections Volume 1, Issue 2
Last week I shared a hodge podge of random things I loved on the internets. And, I had so much fun that I am back here this week doing it again! (Links to books are affiliate links.)
- If you love trees or coffee table books or incredible photography, this book is absolutely captivating. I’ve used it as an art reference for several projects as well.
- I just loved this article about backyard birds and their meanings.
- Did you know that you could make fertilizer for your tomatoes out of bananas? I am so trying this!
- Mikey and I have been taking bee school this year in preparation to bring home our bees next month. This is the book our class has been going through. I have a feeling we will be bookmarking the heck out of it in the coming weeks!
- Addie makes this dish for us at least once a month. It is an absolute favorite around here.
- A friend of mine recently showed me Flipboard. Have you guys heard of it? I have been playing around over there and I kind of like it. It reminds me of back when the internet was a lot of fun.
- Did you know this backstory about the game Monopoly?
- I just love this song.
- Our family just finished watching all the seasons of Modern Family for the first time and we LOVED it… but now we are in that weird funk of trying to find another show we enjoy as much.
- If you paint (walls or art either one) one of my art teachers recommended (affiliate) THESE and they are a game changer for getting paint off your skin gently. They are a little pricey but worth every penny.
- Did you know you could use THIS to make pesto? We are going to have to try it this summer for our very popular Crock Pot Pesto Egg Casserole.
That concludes our second issue of CC! See you next time!
