Welcome to Crockpot Week!
I am sooo giddy I can hardly stand it… or as Miss Add would say “I am so excited I could burst…oops, I bursted ;)”.
This week we will be sharing some killer Crockpot recipes with you… every. single. day. of. the. week!
Totally inspired by the GooseberryPatch’s new mega-hit, Slow Cooking All Year ‘Round, we will cover the whole spectrum… great appetizers just in time for the Super Bowl all the way to a killer dessert. Almost all of the recipes from this week will come from this fabulous cookbook.
I am in love with this cookbook.
It is by-far my favorite crockpot cookbook…
So much so that when I spoke to a huge group of slow cooker fans this weekend, I referred to it over and over and over and my dear friends at Gooseberry Patch were so awesome, they gave me another copy to give to one of the audience members… don’t worry, we have a copy for one of you as well 😉
Now, how about some great teasers about the wonderful recipes that await you this week?
Now, I have already shared the uber-yummy Easy Taco Soup . An INSTANT family favorite around here. I made this one on the stove top, but it is totally crockpottable and I will be crockin’ this rockin’ recipe in the future.
Later tonight I will be sharing a totally killer Crockpot BBQ Chicken Legs recipe… I will be lightening it up a bit for my On the Lighter Side Series and sharing an awesome tip for adding an extra little touch, but if you can’t wait another minute and want to check out the original recipe, hop on over to my friend Leah’s post… This recipe has been the rave of the blogosphere.
On Monday, I will be sharing the super easy French Onion Meatballs that my New Year’s Eve guests went nuts over. You won’t believe how simple this one is…
On Tuesday, we will try the uber-yummy Crab Rangoon Dip that tastes like the inside of the Chinese takeout favorite.
On Wednesday, I will be sharing one of my favorite personal crockpot recipes AND this Cheesy Sausage Dip that packs a powerful spinach punch!
Thursday will feature the killer Pineapple Baked Beans… man, I wish I had some right now.
Oh-so good.
I just LOVE making my sides and mains to be waiting for me when I get home.
Friday is going to feature THE BEST Crustless Pumpkin Pie. Again, another guest favorite at my home. When we have this, there are no leftovers. AT. ALL.
Saturday is all about the Pork Chops and Gravy. And, yes, it is as good as you might imagine 😉 I love super easy dishes like this one.
Last but not least will be the Taters, Sausage and Beans. So simple, yet delicious and will be perfect with this summer’s fresh picked green beans.

I love to roast a whole chicken in the slow cooker. The meat just falls off the bone and the flavor is our of this world.
