Dear Reader-
When Merci Chocolates sent me their lovely smooth chocolates a while back and asked me to write a post about someone I was thankful for, a lot of people came to mind.
Then when one of my good friends asked a handful of my bloggy girlfriends over and we decided to hold an impromptu gift exchange of some of our favorite things… I knew exactly what to bring and who to blog about.
My Real Farmwives bloggy buds are such a blessing in my life.
We have such a great time together…
Cutting up…
Laughing it up…
Be it trying new things…
Or just hanging out…
We like to learn together…
And from each other…
We encourage each other…
Online…
And offline…
From everything from future babies…

To making our blogs the best they can be…
To becoming the best us we can be…
These girls are such an amazing network that I am so lucky to be a part of…
Each one brings so much to the sum of us.
So that is who I am thankful for…
I am thankful for us.
“There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate.”

Thank you Merci for giving me the prompt to remember those dear to me…
So before the gathering, I went to my local Walgreens and grabbed my favorite Indiana wine– Reggae Red from Easley’s, a bag of crack Candy Cane Kisses and two boxes of assorted Merci chocolates which have become a favorite treat in this Year 2 Change house.
Merci aren’t your mama’s assorted chocolates. They are all amazing. All their flavors are clearly marked and oh-so smooth–AND great way to get a chocolate fix for 73 calories per 2 piece bar.

I am thankful for “real” and true people in my life. Both friends and family, and others with whom I may only interact via the internet, but still impact my life in a positive way… Like you and other bloggers like you. 🙂 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

I am thankful for my husband, daughter and son. These past two years have been filled with many surgeries and times of recuperation. They have had to assume my roles that I have not been able to do and have never complained once. I am truly blessed.
