My fingers are trembling. They are skeered. Why?
Because Pampered Chef wants me to “discover the chef in you”… I think they mean me…so let’s just go with it. You can discover your own chef, k.
Puddie’s wallet is scared too… but that is another story for another time.
Back to my fingers… they are fearful of these puppies…
PC self-honing knives. According to my friend Jen over at From Mess Hall to Bistro, these knives stay sharp forever… so my pinkies are scared for however long they last (my fingers not the knives).
Don’t they look scary…mwwuuahhhaaahaaa
Can’t you just hear the “Shhhhiiiinnnnggg” as the sharp blades swoosh out of the sheath?
And what is a knife demo without the tomato slicin’
These knives are sharp… I tell ya.
That’s why my fingers are scared. I told Jen I needed to ask Santa for Bandaids for Christmas. Jen said liquid adhesive works best. Somehow that didn’t make my fingers any less scared.
I mean look at that poor tomato
But whatever you do, don’t look at my index finger placement on the new fancy knives.
Too bad Pampered Chef doesn’t sell knife skills with the knife set. : /
And no, I don’t sell PC. Believe me I … errr… Puddie paid full price for them 🙂
But if ya need a dealer –I got the gal for ya. Email me.

As you would say: I heart nearly all things Pampered Chef! However, I've yet to get any of their knives. I really want them though. I just keep putting it off because they are so expensive. But you know, sometimes you can get hurt worse on dull knives so maybe these new knives were an investment in your safety and health 😉 Happy chopping!

I like your way of thinkin'!
Believe it or not, this is only my second PC purchase. What else would you recommend?

I had a big party a couple years ago and got TONS of stuff cheap or for free. I have the entire stainless steel cookware set which I LOVE. I also have the trifle bowl and several small items (scrappers, spatulas, measuring spoons, spreaders, cookie/ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, etc.) I recently bought one of the newer baking sheets (metal not stone) and I really love it too! One of my favorite items is a tool that breaks up ground meat when your browning hamburger & sausage, etc. This little tool is kind of hidden in the catalog but is just an awesome little tool. I have the manual can opener which is kind of odd to figure out how it works, but once you do it's awesome.
I don't have any of the stoneware. Mainly because I've heard that you have to be careful about changing temperatures with it – like setting a frozen pizza on the pizza stone, waiting on the oven to preheat and then sticking it in – or the stones can break. I figure I'd break mine after only a couple of uses so I've never ordered any. They do have a stoneware baking dish that you can cook an entire chicken in the microwave in just 20 minutes which has been tempting me though! In fact the only thing I've ever got from there that I didn't like was the chopper. I just never could get it to do what I wanted it to, but at every party I've been at everyone else LOVES the chopper so it's a personal choice I guess. Oh, and I also recently got the ice cream scoop that when you hold the handle it glides through the ice cream like it's heated. I thought it was a marketing ploy, but it's the best ice cream scoop I have ever owned… I told you I heart PC!! haha!
