Dear Reader-
I am so excited to share with you the latest yet-to-be released Gooseberry Patch Cookbook, Quick & Easy Autumn due out in May. (Psst… You can pre-order it from Amazon for a killer price!)
Thank you so much for your help last week picking out what recipes we should cook up to review this book and share with you here this week!
And, dear reader, let me tell you… You guys can sure pick some yummy recipes!!! My family and guests LOVED mauwin’ down on all the yummy recipes!
First up was readers’ choice of dips…
You guys chose Easy Mexican Dip. You might recall that I shared this recipe last week. It was absolutely delicious and only had 3 ingredients! I was surprised at how much I loved the flavor. I foresee this dip joining us at future parties and potlucks… if it makes it there… just sayin’
Right across the page from the Easy Mexican Dip was Vickie’s Favorite Guacamole… and truth be told, I was tempted. So, I grabbed up some avocados and got down to business… and Oh, dear reader… do not walk to the store to try this… RUN.
We LOVE, love, LOVE this recipe.
Next up was readers’ choice of Breakfast recipes… and you guys chose Easy 1-2-3 Cinnamon Rolls. These babies were definitely easy as 1-2-3 and absolutely yummy! Miss Add and Aunt Lou absolutely adored them. I will be sharing this recipe in detail later this week… but the secret ingredient of butterscotch pudding mix totally did a great job adding flavor behind the scenes!
Miss Add then had her choice of recipes from the book. The Peanut Butter- Banana Roll-ups were the PERFECT recipe for my little monkey. She LOVED this treat and Mommy loves that it uses whole wheat tortillas– a great healthy snack for my girl. We will also share this quick and easy recipe later this week.
Next up is readers’ choice of Main Dish recipes and Puddie’s favorite recipe of all– Janet’s Farmers Pie. Well Janet, Puddie says this is THE BEST Gooseberry Patch Recipe he has EVER had… and Janet, my dear, he has had A LOT of Gooseberry Patch Recipes… just sayin’
This is a fun take on a Shepherd’s Pie… if Shepherd’s Pie went chicken and combined itself with green bean casserole… Confused? Never fear… all you need to know is it was darn GOODe and we will share the recipe later this week.
Last but certainly NOT least is readers’ choice of Dessert recipes… Holy Cow Cake.
Very much an appropriate name. Holy yumminess batman! This dessert is the perfect marriage of all my favorite sweets… My favorite candy bar: Butterfinger… My favorite cake: Chocolate… My favorite milk: Sweetened Condensed Milk ;)… My favorite ingredient of all time: Cream Cheese… Oh and did I mention there was caramel in it too… This baby is sweet… and delish! Recipe coming soon.
Now that I have given you a sneak peek into what is in store for you later this week… I am so excited to offer you a chance to win this great cookbook BEFORE you can buy it in stores!
You are going to have LOTS of ways to enter to win. You don’t have to use them all, just do the ones you want. Just make sure you leave a separate comment for each entry.
