Hello Week 3! Truth be told this was a rough week and most days I just wanted to throw on a t-shirt and jeans- ha! From massive headaches to multiple dental appointments to lots of errands for my girl’s weekend birthday party, things were busy and my outfits were usually the last thing on my mind ;). BUT, thankfully I had hit a killer sale (75% off kind of sale!) on City Chic dresses a while back, and I am learning a dress is an easy way to look a bit more put together when you are totally barely keeping it together!

Plus Size Outfit of the Day Week 3

Sunday

Sunday was church and so I paired a City Chic dress with my favorite jean jacket to keep warm during service.

Monday

On Monday I decided to have a little fun. We are HUGE Doctor Who fans in our house, so in honor of the new Doctor being announced I wore one of my Doctor Who T-Shirts with my favorite jeans.

Tuesday

It was SO hot on Tuesday. I opted for one of my City Chic dresses again and I got a lot of compliments on it while I was running errands. It was extremely comfortable, had pockets (yay!) and was way different than most of my dresses which pushed me a bit out of my comfort zone.

Wednesday

Oh goodness… Wednesday was not a good day. This was an (old) t-shirt I owned with a favorite maxi skirt I have had forever. I did not realize how faded my t-shirt was… I like this outfit in theory but failed miserably in execution… ha!

Thursday

On Thursday I knew I needed something I could be cool in outside and yet warmer in when visiting the chilly dentist’s office. So I grabbed a maxi dress and denim shirt and it might just be my favorite this week.

Friday

It was CRAZY busy on Friday getting ready for the big birthday party! By the evening I was ready to go out so I didn’t have to cook on top of everything else. So I threw a kimono on over my t-shirt and jeans. Pardon my wrinkly t-shirt… it was a rough day! Lol!

Saturday

What did I learn this week?

• A dress is an easy way to feel good even when you are short on time.
• On the “big days” go with an outfit you know you love (and how it will do in the blazing heat). I was so glad I already knew that my Saturday outfit was going to wear well all day while being super comfortable during the birthday party.
