Do you need something simple to take to a potluck or pitch-in? This is the 3 Ingredient Cheese Dip I’m Taking to the Cookout This Week.
Sometimes simple is best and this dip is simply the best.
I love when I can just throw something in the crock pot and it is universally LOVED.
We have been making this dip FOR YEARS and years.
And the best part is, it is 3 ingredients!
Crock Pot Sausage Cheese Dip
Do you need something simple to take to a potluck or pitch-in? This is the 3 Ingredient Cheese Dip I'm Taking to the Cookout This Week.
Servings: 12
Equipment
- 6 QT Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 32 oz Block of Velveeta cubed
- 15 oz jar chunky salsa
- 1 lb ground sausage browned and drained
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a 6 quart slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 2 -3 hours, stirring occasionally until cheese melts completely.
Notes
Short on time? If your slow cooker is in a microwave safe crock, you can put the crock in your microwave for 3 minutes intervals, stirring in between to get the cheese melting faster.

What sausage do you like to use for this recipe?
Cris says
We just use any ground sausage. Whatever is on sale. Bob Evans, Jimmy Dean, etc. I prefer mild.
